In my early days with The Tea Set (see below) I played live at some legendary venues, including The Hammersmith Odeon (now Hammersmith Apollo), The Rainbow in Finsbury Park, The Glasgow Apollo and The Lyceum in London supporting acts such as U2, The Clash, XTC and Iggy Pop.
Since restarting my music career in 2017 as a solo artist I have played at many venues including The Troubadour, The Lexington, The Ivy House, The Waiting Room, The Amersham Arms, The Gunners, The Copper Cats, The Four Thieves and Walthamstow Trades Hall. Normally I'm accompanied by one or more of the following: Marcus Holdaway (dazzling multi-instrumentalist, member of The High Llamas); Pierre Lassègues (guitarist and singer, recording as Cross Channel Music) and William Hayter (percussionist, independent producer and co-ordinator of the Miniatures 2020 project). I also play guitar with Peckham based band The PGs performing a mixture of covers by the likes of Hatfield and the North, This Heat, Felt Kuti, Ivor Cutler, The Undertones and The Residents plus original material by the band.
